2023 FGN Series VI Sukuk Issuance
The Federal Government of Nigeria’s (“FGN” or the “Issuer”) Series VI Sovereign Sukuk of NGN150 billion (the “Issue” or “the Offer’’) is now open and is scheduled to close on Wednesday, 11 October 2023.
The DMO commenced the issuance of Sovereign Sukuk in September 2017 as part of its strategic initiative to support the development of critical infrastructure, promote financial inclusion and deepen the domestic securities market. As with previous issuances, the proceeds of the Issue will be used to finance the rehabilitation and construction of road projects and bridges across the six (6) geo-political zones and Federal Capital Territory by the implementing agencies of the Federal Government.

Classified as Liquid Assets by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Qualifies as securities in which trustees can invest under the Trustees Investment Act. |
